Pontianak, UNTAN.Untan luncurkan Aplikasi Petunjuk Lokasi UTBK berbasis Android dan Virtual Reality Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) yang diselenggarakan Universitas Tanjungpura sebagai bagian dari Pusat UTBK Nasional seringkali dihadapkan dengan masalah informasi yang akurat terkait lokasi ujian bagi peserta.
Rute Menuju Lokasi UTBK
Pada saat ujian, masih ada peserta yang keliru menempati posisi ruang ujian, sebagaimana tercantum pada kartu dan daftar peserta yang ada. Hal ini mengingat peserta yang datang dari berbagai daerah, umumnya kesulitan atau belum mengetahui rute menuju lokasi UTBK yang dimaksud.
Lokasi yang tersebar di kampus Untan dapat menyebabkan peserta kesulitan, untuk itu Untan menyiapkan sistem lokasi UTBK Pontianak yang dapat diakses daring kapanpun dan dimanapun.
Ada dua aplikasi inovatif yang diluncurkan Untan (11/6) untuk memudahkan para peserta UTBK menemukan lokasi ujian mereka. Sehingga tidak perlu repot datang survey sehari sebelumnya.
Pertama aplikasi sistem informasi geografis berbasis android. Aplikasi ini berfungsi memandu peserta langsung menuju ke lokasi via GPS. Aplikasi kedua adalah aplikasi virtual reality.
Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelegence)
Menurut Dr.Herry Sujaini, dengan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelegence) yang dikembangkan dalam aplikasi virtual lokasi UTBK ini, peserta dapat melakukan touring virtual secara bebas di kampus Untan,
dimana lokasinya dibuat sesuai realita keadaan kampus Untan dan dilengkapi dengan petunjuk arah menuju lokasi ujian.
Karena kampus Untan cukup luas, dalam aplikasi ini avatar peserta dapat menggunakan mobil yang dapat digunakan sendiri atau menjadi penumpang, seperti pada permainan GTA (Grand Theft Auto) atau PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds).
Selain itu para peserta dapat berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi pada aplikasi virtual reality ini. Demikian pungkas pakar yang juga menjabat sebagai Kepala UPT.TIK Untan ini.
