Pontianak, FISIP UNTAN, Semangat Gotong Royong Surau Nuruddin Surau Nuruddin yang berada di lingkungan FISIP Universitas Tanjungpura telah diresmikan hari ini (Rabu, 24 Mei 2017). Sejak pagi, surau sudah ramai dengan mahasiswa, dosen dan para staf FISIP. Lantai dan karpet surau juga nampak bersih. Senyuman banyak merekah dan nampak di setiap wajah dalam kebersamaan di Surau Nuruddin.
Rebana dan dendangan sholawat
Rebana dan dendangan sholawat berkumandang saat menyambut kedatangan Prof. Dr. Thamrin Usman, DEA (Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura) dan para undangan. Acara dimulai dengan pembacaan bersama surat Yasin dan do’a yang dipimpin oleh H. Usman Rolibi, S.Pd.I..
Selaku Ketua Panitia Pembangunan Surau Nuruddin, Dr. H. Mochtaria M. Noh, M.Si. mengatakan bahwa pembangunan Surau Nuruddin tidak bisa lepas dari doa dan uluran tangan oleh banyak pihak. Banyak donasi uang yang mengalir untuk surau, diantaranya berasal dari Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura, Walikota Pontianak, dosen, staf, mahasiswa, ikatan alumni, wisudawan dan banyak juga atas nama pribadi dari berbagai pihak. Terdapat juga donasi dalam bentuk bahan material, teralis, sajadah, karpet, dan kipas angin. Ucapan tulus terimakasih ditujukan untuk seluruh bentuk bantuan dan dukungan.
Dr. Herlan, S.Sos., M.Si, sebagai Wakil Dekan I Fisip Untan dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan apresiasi yang besar kepada seluruh keluarga besar Universitas Tanjungpura. Surau Nuruddin menjadi bagian dari FISIP, Universitas Tanjungpura dan milik bersama masyarakat. “Kebersamaan itu penting untuk membangun institusi kita”, ujar Dr. Herlan, S.Sos. M.Si..
Perwakilan dari Ikatan Alumni Untan
Perwakilan dari Ikatan Alumni Untan yang rencananya dihadiri oleh ketua IKA yang juga lebih dikenal sebagai Walikota Pontianak yaitu H. Sutarmidji, SH, M.Hum ternyata tidak bisa datang karena padatnya jadwal kegiatan di masyarakat. Ikatan Alumni Untan diwakili oleh Ibu Utin Srilena Candramidi (Kepala Dinas Perhubungan Kota Pontianak) yang juga sangat mendukung dengan diresmikannya Surau Nuruddin sebagai bagian pengembangan kampus Untan. Selain itu Bu Utin menyampaikan pesan dari Pak Walikota bahwa akan siap membantu segala keperluan dan kegiatan Surau Nuruddin.
Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura, Prof. Dr. Thamrin Usman, DEA dalam sambutannya memberi pesan untuk memelihara dan memakmurkan Surau. Surau juga bisa menjadi ruang belajar oleh para mahasiswa. Dengan berwudlu sebelum masuk ke Surau, kepala menjadi lebih sejuk dan bisa fokus untuk belajar. Rektor mengajak seluruh hadirin untuk menjadikan surau sebagai ruang yang menebarkan kasih sayang, cinta damai, dan membawa akhlak yang baik ke dalam laku sehari-hari. Acara ini ditutup dengan penandatanganan oleh Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura dan doa bersama oleh Dr. Pabali Musa, M.Ag. Acara disambung dengan sholat Dzuhur berjamaah dan kemudian makan bersama.
Kehadiran Surau Nuruddin diharapkan bisa jadi bentuk gotong royong kebaikan yang perlu dibudayakan. Selain itu menambah energi positif di lingkungan kampus.
