Sembilan mahasiswa dari berbagai fakultasUniversitas Tanjungpura mengikuti pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi 2016 yang digelar di Rektorat Untan Pontianak. Tujuan dari kegiatan Mahasiswa Berprestasi ini sendiri adalah memilih dan memberikan penghargaan kepada mahasiswa yang meraih prestasi tinggi dalam kegiatan kurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakulikuler.Seperti dilansir thetanjungpuratimes(01/05)
Sembilan Mahasiswa Ikuti Pemilihan Mawapres Untan 2016
“Jumlah peserta tahun ini cukup lengkap, bila dibandingkan tahun lalu,” ungkap Ketua kegiatan Mawapres, Drs. Ishak.
Apalagi, pada kegiatan kali ini, para peserta merupakan hasil seleksi dari fakultas masing-masing, sehingga mereka akan diberikan penghargaan.
Panitia kegiatan menambahkan, unsur penilaian pada pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi ini antara lain IPK, Karya tulis ilmiah (Penulisan dan Presentasi), Prestasi yang diunggulkan dan Bahasa Inggris.
Salah satu peserta Mawapres, Maya Andzela dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis mengatakan, untuk kegiatan ini, dirinya sudah menyiapkan karya tulis serta konsep yang akan dipersentasikan.
“Materi yang akan saya persentasikan adalah tentang Koperasi pemulung sampah plastik,” ujar Maya.
Dalam pemilihan ini, peserta yang terpilih akan mewakili Universitas Tanjungpura guna mengikuti pemilihan Mawapres tingkat nasional yang akan dilaksanakan pada 20-23 Juli 2016.
Adapun nama nama peserta yang mengikuti pemilihan Mawapres Universitas Tanjungpura yakni, Ananda Maulidiah (Fakultas Hukum), Maya Andzela (Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis), Gilang Wana Satria (Fakultas Pertanian), Aji Suhartoyo (Fakultas Teknik), Fuzy Firda Zhan (Fisip), Reza Wirawan (FKIP), Andi Fery Ramadhani (Fakultas Kehutanan), Mas Inda Putrinesa (FMIPA) dan Antony Halim (Fakultas Kedokteran).
