Rapat Senat dan Orasi Ilmiah

Sejak 08.30 undangan telah menghadiri ruang magister FISIP Untan. Turut hadir Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik, Dr.Ir.Radian,MS, Bupati Sanggau Paulus Hadi, S.IP, M.Si, Ketua dan anggota Senat Fakultas ISIP.

Dekan Dr.H.Martoyo, MA dan jajaran pimpinan FISIP Untan. Dosen, alumni, mahasiswa, dan tendik hadir terbatas skala prokes.

Rapat senat diisi dengan orasi ilmiah oleh Dr.Hj.Sri Haryaningsih, M.Si berjudul “Penguatan Good Governance Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Tanjungpura dalam Menanggapi Tantangan Global.”

Orasi Ilmiah Good Governance

Orasi ilmiah  ini mengulas tentang pentingnya penguatan good governance di FISIP Untan untuk menghadapi tantangan global.

Dr. Sri Haryaningsih mengatakan bahwa good governance merupakan suatu sistem yang mengatur penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan masyarakat yang demokratis, transparan, akuntabel, dan partisipatif.

Good governance penting untuk diterapkan di FISIP Untan karena dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Dr. Sri Haryaningsih menyebutkan bahwa ada beberapa tantangan global yang harus dihadapi oleh FISIP Untan, antara lain:

  • Perubahan lingkungan global yang semakin cepat dan kompleks
  • Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat
  • Globalisasi yang semakin dinamis

Untuk menghadapi tantangan-tantangan tersebut, Dr. Sri Haryaningsih merekomendasikan beberapa upaya penguatan good governance di FISIP Untan, antara lain:

  • Meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan sumber daya
  • Meningkatkan partisipasi mahasiswa, dosen, dan masyarakat dalam pengambilan keputusan
  • Menciptakan budaya kerja yang inovatif dan adaptif

Dr. Sri Haryaningsih berharap bahwa upaya penguatan good governance di FISIP Untan dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas, mampu menghadapi tantangan global, dan berkontribusi positif bagi pembangunan bangsa.

Orasi ini mendapat respon positif, diantaranya Paulus Hadi, Bupati Sanggau seperti dilansir Diskominfo Kabupaten Sanggau (12/10/2021)

“Memang tantangan kedepan sebagaimana di dalam orasi ilmiah yang disampaikan tadi, kita melihat bahwa globalisasi ini menjadi sebuah tantangan.

Tetapi sebagai alumni kita mendorong dan memberi semangat kepada adik-adik mahasiswa kita bahwa untuk menata lebih baik fakultas kita ini memang perlu kompak,” kata alumni FISIP Untan ini.
