Communication Week

Pontianak, IKOM FISIP UNTAN-Communication Week (CommWeek) merupakan agenda tahunan yang diadakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi (HIMAKOM) Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Tema dari kegiatan yaitu Connect, Communicate and Create. Communication Week, dilaksanakan dalam rangka penyambutan mahasiswa baru

Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi untuk memperkenalkan, mempererat, serta mengembangkan bakat, minat, kompetensi mahasiswa khusunya di bidang Ilmu Komunikasi.

Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan Communication Week adalah  :

1. Meningkatkan ketakwaan dan keimanan kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
2. Meningkatkan mutu dalam hal Akreditasi Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi
3. Mempererat rasa kekeluargaan dan kebersamaan antara Mahasiswa, Dosen, maupun setiap elemen yang terkait didalam Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi.
4. Menyalurkan minat dan bakat serta kemampuan mahasiswa maupun siswa di bidang Komunikasi.
5. Memperkenalkan prodi Ilmu Komunikasi dan meningkatkan peran langsung mahasiswa di masyarakat.

Communication Week pertama kali diselenggarakan pada tahun 2014. “Tradisi” yang dibangun dalam penyelenggaraan CommWeek adalah senior menyambut junior dengan penuh apresiasi membangun kompetensi dan profesionalitas di bidang ilmu komunikasi, baik secara teoritis maupun praktis. Elemen  kekeluargaan juga tak lepas dari penyelenggaraan CommWeek. Disini, keluarga besar Prodi Ilmu Komunikasi saling mengisi kekurangan dan menghargai kelebihan masing-masing personil dalam kerangka kerjasama.
