Workshop Asosiasi Program Studi Sosiologi Indonesia (APSSI) bertajuk Pengelolaan Jurnal dan Penyusunan Pembelajaran Mata kuliah Inti Sosiologi resmi dibuka oleh Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura, Prof.Dr.H.Thamrin Usman, DEA, Selasa malam 28 Oktober 2014 di hotel Santika Pontianak.<\/p>\n

Pembukaan Workshop APSSI berlangsung Meriah<\/h2>\n

Turut hadir dan memberikan sambutannya adalah Dekan FISIP Untan, Drs.H.Sukamto,M.Si, Dr.H,Mochtaria M.Noh (Ketua Panitia) dan Dr.M.Ridha Taqwa (Sekum APSSI). Dalam sambutan mereka terbersit harapan yang besar agar APSSI \u00a0dapat berperan strategis dalam pelaksanaan Tri Darma melalui pengelolaan jurnal dan penyusunan materi pembelajaran inti sosiologi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman.<\/p>\n

Tantangan kearah itu memang berat bila melihat masih banyak kelemahan dan keterbatasan di masing-masing program studi. Namun dengan adanya APSSI sebagai wadah jejaring elemen sosiologi lintas universitas, didukung komitmen dan peranan aktif seluruh anggotanya, maka berbagai tantangan tentu dapat diatasi dengan baik.<\/p>\n

Bahkan bukan tidak mungkin, APSSI mampu menciptakan dan memanfaatkan berbagai peluang yang muncul dalam ragam dimensi dan aspek kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.<\/p>\n

Dengan berbagai potensi kekuatan yang dimiliki APSSI yang berbasis kepakaran dibidang sosiologi, setidaknya bisa dioptimalkan dan didedikasikan sepenuhnya bagi Indonesia Baru yang dicita-citakan para pendiri bangsa.<\/p>\n

Selain acara seremonial, pembukaan juga dimeriahkan dengan pagelaran seni dan tari daerah khas Melayu dan Dayak yang disumbangkan komunitas seni mahasiswa FISIP Univesitas Tanjungpura.(dd98).<\/p>\n
