Rektor Universitas Tanjungpura (Untan) Prof Dr Thamrin Usman DEA, mengatakan, bahwa dirinya sangat berterimakasih atas kedatangan Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Kapolri) Jendral Tito Karnavian di Gedung Auditorium Universitas Tanjungpura, seperti dilansir thetanjungpuratimes<\/a> pada Senin (6\/3) siang<\/p>\n

\u201cIni merupakan suatu kesempatan yang langka, beliau hadir bersama dengan rombongan, untuk memberikan Kuliah Umum,\u201d ujar Rektor Untan.<\/p>\n

Dirinya menerangkan, bahwa pihaknya sudah melihat tentang apa yang akan disampaikan oleh Kapolri Jenderal Tito Karnavian, sangatlah dibutuhkan pihaknya.<\/p>\n

\u201cKita juga sudah melihat, dan saya rasa, ini sangat diperlukan untuk kelangsungan bangsa dan negara ini,\u201d kata Rektor Untan.<\/p>\n

\u201cKarena perbedaan itu bukanlah sebuah kekurangan, melainkan perbedaan itu adalah salah satu pemersatu dan menjadi kekuatan bagi kita, khususnya NKRI,\u201d \u00a0kata Rektor Untan.<\/p>\n

Terkait itu, Rektor mengatakan bahwa Kuliah Umum yang diberikan oleh Kapolri \u00a0Jenderal Polisi Tito Karnavian harus benar-benar diserap dan dipahami oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswi Untan.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeluruh mahasiswa Untan harus bisa berpandangan, bagaimana perbedaan itu bisa menjadi kekuatan, dan sebuah keharmonisan,\u201d ujar Rektor usai kegiatan Kuliah Umum Kapolri.<\/p>\n
