Seminar Nasional Ravelnas Himapol: Komitmen Negara Terhadap Wilayah Perbatasan<\/h2>\n

Seminar ini \u00a0diselenggarakan Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Politik (Himapol) Fisip Universitas Tanjungpura, dalam rangkaian acara pembuka Ravelnas di Auditorium Untan pada Selasa (21\/02). Kegiatan-kegiatan Ravelnas Himapol<\/a> dimulai pada tanggal 21-24 Februari 2017, kegiatan hari pertama prosesi pembukaan oleh Walikota Pontianak, Sutarmidji yang juga merupakan ketua Ikatan Alumni Universitas Tanjungpura.<\/p>\n

Seminar mengusung dua tema yakni sesi pertama “PolitikKebangsaan, Penguatan Demokrasi Lokal, dan Mewujudkan Good Local Governance<\/em>“, serta pada seminar kedua bertemakan “komitmen negara terhadap wilayah perbatasan”.<\/p>\n

Menurut Wakil\u00a0Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan \u00a0Fisip Untan<\/a>, Sabran Achyar di hari pertama diadakan seminar yang meliputi Good Governance<\/em> dengan pembicara Wali Kota Pontianak, Sutarmidji dan satu diantara akademisi Untan<\/a> yang juga merupakan pengamat sosial Dr. Jumadi, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan ceramah dari Kodam yang diwakili staff ahli pangdam XII\/Tpr Kolonel Infantri Basuki.<\/p>\n

Menurut narasumber, seperti dilaporkan kontributor fisipnews \u00a0bahwa komitmen negara terhadap wilayah perbatasan merupakan masalah khusus dan kompleks yang harus segera mendapatkan perhatian dari pemerintah.<\/p>\n

Pengembangan kawasan perbatasan juga diarahkan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dikawasan perbatasan, karena lokasinya yang terpencil \u00a0dari pusat-pusat pertumbuhan ekonomi.<\/p>\n

Peningkatan masyarakat<\/h2>\n

Peningkatan masyarakat lokal ini juga sangat penting ditinjau dari aspek ketahanan bangsa. Aspek keamanan itu sendiri tidak semata-mata membicarakan aspek keamanan secara sempit yang melibatkan ancaman konvensional seperti invasi militer negara lain namun secara lebih kompleks, yakni keamanan manusia secara nasional meliputi aspek sosial, ekonomi, bahkan politik.<\/p>\n

Melalui upaya pengembangan kawasan perbatasan ini, diharapkan berbagai bentuk praktek ilegal terhadap\u00a0sumber daya alam dan budaya\u00a0 indonesia tidak akan terjadi. Hal ini memerlukan kerjasama yang erat dari semua pihak secara sinergis, baik antar instansi ditingkat pusat maupun antara pemerintah pusat dengan pemerintah daerah.<\/p>\n

“Masing-masing pihak mempunyai tugas dan tanggung jawab yang berbeda satu sama lain. Namun secara bersama-sama semuanya menyatu pada upaya membangun wilayah NKRI yang kuat, berdaulat, dan sejahtera. Mengingat kawasan perbatasan merupakan kawasan yang sangat strategis bagi pertahanan dan keamanan negara.” Kata Kolonel (Inf) Basuki.<\/p>\n

Menurutnya kebijakan pembangunan jangka menengah penting diarahkan pada upaya untuk pengembangan kawasan perbatasan dengan mengubah arah kebijakan pembangunan yang selama ini cenderung berorientasi inward looking<\/em> menjadi outward looking. outward looking<\/em> dimaknai kedalam upaya-upaya untuk perdagangan dengan negara tetangga.<\/p>\n

Dalam seminar tersebut hadir sejumlah delegasi mahasiswa Himapol\u00a0dari berbagai Universitas yang ada di Indonesia. Selain undangan, seminar juga dihadiri sivitas akademika Fisip Untan baik dari prodi Ilmu Politik, Ilmu Administrasi Negara, dan\u00a0mahasiswa prodi lain juga ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut. Mereka tampak antusias mengikuti pembukaan dan seminar hingga usai.<\/p>\n

Respon peserta yang antusias juga tercermin dari pendapat mereka yang memaknai kegiatan seminar tersebut guna menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif kebangsaan untuk\u00a0berpartisipasi dalam memajukan wilayah perbatasan.<\/p>\n

“Makna dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kepedulian mahasiswa dan pemerintah khususnya terhadap wilayah perbatasan, ” kata Dungi, salah seorang mahasiswa peserta seminar.<\/p>\n
