Berbeda dengan IELTS dan TOEFL-ITP, tes bahasa Inggris yang telah diselenggarakan Pearson Test of English-Academic (PTE-A) menawarkan berbagai kelebihan yang tidak dimiliki dua jenis tes sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p>PTE-A menawarkan tiga konsep kelebihan dibandingkan dengan jenis tes bahasa Inggris dengan standar Internasional lainnya.<\/p>\n<p>Kelebihan yang pertama adalah dari faktor kecepatan dimana\u00a0hasil PTE-Academic sudah dapat diterima dalam waktu lima hari kerja setelah pelaksanaan tes. \u00a0Kemudian waktu yang fleksibel dalam artian\u00a0tes dapat dilaksanakan sepanjang tahun di 200 lokasi di seluruh dunia sehingga tidak perlu menunggu kuota atau antrian. Dan yang terakhir adalah hasil PTE-Academic dapat diterima sebagai syarat untuk mengajukan visa oleh Pemerintah Australia dan ribuan institusi maupun perguruan tinggi di Inggris, Australia, Amerika Serikat, Kanada, Selandia Baru, dan Irlandia, termasuk sejumlah universitas terkemuka seperti Harvard, Yale, dan INSEAD.<\/p>\n<p>Direktur PTE-A Untan, Dr.techn. Thamrin Usman, DEA yang membuka acara tersebut mengatakan, akan menjalin komunikasi dengan Kemenristekdikti\u00a0dan Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) untuk mengakui hasil PTE-A dan menerimanya sebagai salah satu bukti kemampuan dalam berbahasa inggris.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKita berencana untuk mendekati <em>British Council<\/em> di Indonesia agar dapat mengesahkan\u00a0penggunaan PTE-A untuk masuk ke perguruan tinggi di Britania Raya.
