Pontianak, Fisipnews. Peningkatan kompetensi diploma melalui praktek kerja lapangan menjadi trending topik dalam kegiatan Pembekalan PKL Mahasiswa Diploma III FISIP Untan yang diselenggarakan pada Sabtu (11/2) di aula Gedung C Kampus FISIP Universitas Tanjungpura.

Peningkatan Kompetensi Diploma Melalui Praktek Kerja Lapangan

Peningkatan Kompetensi Diploma Melalui Praktek Kerja Lapangan, dinyatakan dalam bentuk proses pembelajaran program D III FISIP Untan yang memenuhi standar kompetensi sesuai profil lulusan level 5 sebagaimana di atur dalam kebijakan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) dan Standar Nasional Kompetensi Kerja ( SNKK) dibidang administrasi kantor dan kesekretariatan.

Standar kompetensi dimaksud adalah kemampuan lulusan didalam melaksanakan berbagai fungsi dan kegiatan terkait bidang ilmu yang dipelajari sesuai baku mutu yang ditetapkan oleh institusi atau industri tempat mereka bekerja.

Persaingan dan Kompetensi Kerja

Ketatnya persaingan kerja telah menuntut standar kompetensi level tinggi baik pada standar kompetensi dasar, kompetensi inti maupun kompetensi khusus yang harus dimiliki oleh profil lulusan diploma. Keseluruhan kompetensi tersebut mencakup kompetensi dalam hal komunikasi, pelayanan prima, teknologi informasi, manajemen, administrasi, keuangan, legal, pemasaran, dsb.

Melalui proses pembelajaran yang mengacu pada 9 kriteria yakni interaksi, integrasi, holistik, saintifik, tematik, kontekstual, efektif, kolaboratif dan berpusat kepada mahasiswa, sebagaimana  diatur dalam Permenristekdikti nomor 44 tahun 2015 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan Tinggi, maka proses pembentukan lulusan sesuai profil kompetensi D3 perlu dimantapkan dengan kegiatan Praktek Kerja Lapangan.

Sehingga PKL yang dijalani 212 peserta tahun 2017 ini nantinya semakin memantapkan hasil belajar yakni terwujudnya profil lulusan diploma yang unggul, profesional dan berdaya saing dari segi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap mental. (Red**)
