Pontianak, Fisipnews. Pembekalan Praktek Kerja Lapangan Diploma, dilaksanakan pada Sabtu (11/2) di aula gedung C FISIP Universitas Tanjungpura. Kegiatan pembekalan tahun ini bertema Wujudkan Praktek Kerja Berkualitas Demi Peningkatan Kompetensi Lulusan Diploma.

“PKL tahun 2017 ini terbanyak dalam sejarah Diploma III Fisip Untan. Total peserta terdiri dari 212 orang, masing-masing program studi, Administrasi Perkantoran 118 orang, Kesekretariatan 30 orang, dan Kearsipan 64 orang” Kata Nurwijayanto, SH, M.Si, Ketua Panitia PKL saat memberikan pidato pembukaannya.
Ketua Pengelola, Drs. Abdul Rahim, M.Si dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya peserta PKL untuk mentaati segala aturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku di lokasi kantor peserta praktek kerja tersebut. “Kita membawa misi nama baik institusi, tidak hanya diploma, namun juga FISIP dan Untan”.

Dr.Herlan, Wakil Dekan 1 yang mewakil Dekan FISIP Untan turut menasehatkan mahasiswa akan pentingnya meningkatkan kompetensi dibidang ilmu yang ditekuni, dengan menyeimbangkan antara teori dan praktek.
Menurutnya, PKL merupakan kesempatan baik bagi mahasiswa untuk menerapkan berbagai teori dari ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh saat proses kuliah pada program studi masing-masing.
“Sering dikatakan jika teori dan praktek itu berbeda, ya jika itu terjadi perlu dilihat apakah karena inovasi atau penyimpangan fakta atas teori.” Bagaimanapun menurutnya, teori adalah gambaran ideal yang mestinya diwujudkan dalam pelaksanaan di lapangan kerja apapun.
Wakil Dekan yang enerjik dan masih muda ini pun mengingatkan pentingnya penguasaan komputer pada tataran operasional yang standar, agar bisa berkiprah lebih banyak dibidang kerja apapun.
